SCIENCE FICTION BOOK GROUP Tuesday 5/20 at 6:30 The book for May will be The Automatic Detective by A. Lee Martinez. This group meets at the Clarendon Store. Also, check out our Science Fiction page! SOUP AND SUSPENSE MYSTERY GROUP Thursday 5/15 at 5:30 pm. Currently reading any book by Joan Hess or Mary Dahaim. They meet in the annex at Kazoo Books on Parkview. Open to new members. This is a lively discussion group. Be prepared. HISTORY LOVERS Thursday 5/22 7pm. The History Book Group will be continuing its 9-month study program beginning in 1400 Europe and its impact on current affairs. They are now moving into the Napoleon era of Europe and the revolutions and leaders of that period. They meet regularly at Kazoo Books II on Parkview. History buffs are welcome. They get into some very interesting discussions. FOODIES
MAY FOODIE Tuesday 5/20 7pm. This month is a special Foodie with “dessert king” R. Stanley. We'll be kicking off our 20th anniversary celebration!!! Be there for the unveiling of the new community room at the Parkview Annex. R. Stanley will be sharing his special desserts. YUM! The cost is $15 per person with reservations required.
